People have the right to know what they are consuming. If companies are not forced to put GMO labels, then they could also argue they shouldn't have to label other important information.

If there isn’t proper labeling on products, it’s impossible to trust what companies put in their products.

I think it is best if they say when there is position on the labels because what if some one does not like the thing is the ingredients or something in the food/drink.

GMO labels are not as important if we don't really care about eating healthy. Not all the restaurants will mention which dish has it and people will still eat there. We need to be more smart when we are consuming food and make smart choices.

People might chose not to buy a product, even if the modification is very basic and insignificant, just because of the fact it is a GMO, which might prevent genuanly good modifications to happen.

If consumers were uninformed about whether their food is GMO or not, it could cause a rise of health issues among people

food labeled as gmo would be frowned upon and since poorer people often buy more processed food americans would feel unfair about it

If farmers are required to put GMO labels on their products then, chances are that less people would buy the produce from them.
