Yes, but not until they are teenagers, and it should also not be encouraged for students to believe themselves to be either inherently racist or incapable of being successful based on the color of their skin. Therefore, it should be taught historically and factually, and it should avoid bias and push for a racially color blind society because only then can prejudice be healed.
I agree and disagree. I think that kids should be taught about the other races and cultures that exist so they can have enough background knowledge to prevent the preconceived notions that they will develop without it.
