To 'filter' them you have to provide a safe place and stable life for them where they feel threatened only by the normal things that a person feels threatened by. Not the fear of being deported because of a label, not the fear of being locked up and not given a fair trial because of the government and big corporations. These people need jobs and they have some skill sets that some Americans don't have. As a country, we need to embrace and help the immigrants that come from a place of war or other life-threatening situations. Also, think about it, if your family is threatened just for living in a warzone or by an unfair government wouldn't the next move be to leave and find a place where you have a chance at survival and a sense of normal?
So we're just gonna not let anyone come in just because of a few bad apples?

You obviously didn't see what I said in previous discussions on this same page because we are talking about illegal immigrants, not legal immigrants because if you do one thing legally you are more likely to do the rest legally too.
