Yes but only after the teacher or the school staff member in question has been background checked by the FBI and State Police in the resident state. Subsequently thoroughly trained in the safe use of their firearm and proven their marksmanship to a licensed or certified firearms instructor. They must be taught when and how to use their firearm and how to properly maintain it. Additionally, the local law enforcement agency shall issue to the individual(s) in training some form of wearable identification so they will not be mistaken for an active shooter.
