Before people use to go to college at the price of working a minimum wage job. So people complain about not being able to find a job, and leaving school with like eight grand in debt. The government got involved by giving out loans. Next thing you know, colleges began charging outrageous prices, because the government was giving out loans for every demand. The government should leave colleges alone, stop putting people in debt to them, and forgive the debt that they created. The only thing that the government could do, if anything without severe repercussions, is max out what a college can charge based on the the income of the majority of the state. So like 32,000 minimum yearly income in one state, college can only charge only a fourth, which would be eight grand. Great for higher income families, but definitely not bad for low income families.
