How would your school or work environment transform if everyone acted with compassion?

 @9KDQ4R9 from North Carolina answered…3mos3MO

 @9KDPQNC from Missouri answered…3mos3MO

I think if people acted that way it would be wonderful but at the same time not realistic especially in a work place/school where u have to be mean sometimes.

 @9KM4NGX from Nevada disagreed…2mos2MO

I think it is someones problem if they feel like they have to be mean. I think everyone should have the idea of being kind always.

 @9KDP7FBRepublican from Illinois answered…3mos3MO

It'd be a better work environment for everyone, teachers included. It'd be easier to teach, learn, and enjoy school.

What does it mean to you to live a 'good life' in our modern world?

 @9HTSWK2 from Washington answered…4mos4MO

To live a good life in our modern world means to live comfortably, to have stability, no financial worries or stress (not worrying about rent, grocery bills, bills in general, being able to buy almost anything you want without thinking twice about it, etc.), owning a house, no debt.

 @9HXDFTS from Indiana agreed…4mos4MO

I think that with everything said, it is enough since you would have nothing to worry about if you have all that under control.

 @9HTSN28 from Nevada answered…4mos4MO

 @9HTSGVYfrom Guam answered…4mos4MO

How good something is will be subjective, regardless of what one is talking about. Personally a "good life" is one wherein I've mostly made decisions that I can look back proudly upon, with few decisions that I would be unhappy about.

How does empathy play a role in improving social justice in our communities?

 @9HZH3D3 from California answered…4mos4MO

Empathy plays a role in improving social justice in our communities because if people were to put themselves in the shoes of the person they are oppressing, they would change their ways.

 @9HZH5R8 from Illinois answered…4mos4MO

Empathy plays a role by allowing collaboration and hands-on solution and improving social justice in our community.

The thought of a human's body mind and soul and its development.

 @9HZP3SZagreed…4mos4MO

I'm an empath. What that means is, I don't pick up on social cues so much as moods. I feel those, its like a strong feeling, and its sometimes hard to tell when those moods are my own or someone else's. But what I'm saying is, empathy can improve social justice by helping us understand one another in a deeper, more meaningful way.

 @9HZHY9G from Texas answered…4mos4MO

Empathy is crucial because by "othering" people it makes it hard to understand problems that may not be impacting yourself

I think "Integral Humanism" is a new social experiment buzzword to distract those who have more money than is good for them and, thus, have the freedom to advocate for a utopian vision of society. Until they develop and understand their own personal, social, and economic responsibilities on a small and local level, they need to stop trying to "transform" western culture into some kind of paradise.
