Repeal the Trump tax cuts. Tax capital gains, tax land, and tax inheritances. Keep these hefty. Increase funding for the IRS and regulatory agencies to fund regular audits. Wealthy tax cheats (including companies) are draining public coffers, producing artificially-induced budget crises.

The argument that wealthy tax cheats are causing budget crises is a fallacy. The issue is not that the wealthiest aren't paying enough in taxes, but rather that the government is spending too much. Increasing taxes on the rich will not solve the problem, as they already pay a disproportionate amount of taxes. In fact, we should be lowering taxes for all Americans, not just the wealthy. This will incentivize more economic activity, leading to more revenue for the government. What we need is a smaller government that spends within its means. What do you think?
