No, we shouldn't ban weapons but rather raise liabilities and requirements to own/purchase/sell them to reduce firearm incidents such as raising the age to own/carry one, making it so that you have to not only have a firearm license but also a assault rifle license to own/carry/sell assault rifels, making so that in the event of a legal police search through your house (meaning they have to have a warrant) that they find firearms not properly secured in a safe you can have you have to pay a fine and have your firearm license temporarily suspended, Making it so citizens under the age of 16 can't be taught how to operate firearms and that anyone teaching them under that age have their firearms license be permanetly suspended, etc.... basically more reasonable responsibilities/requirments/accountabilities/punishments to people who own/carry/sell firearms in accordance with the 2nd ammendment.
