What concerns might you have about the quality of your education if the government reduces funding to public schools?

 @9J2TD99 from Illinois answered…4mos4MO

Lower quality of education and a lack of resources for students.

 @9J2W5Y3Libertarian from Georgia disagreed…4mos4MO

The education department is already so limited in what it’s providing children that an elimination of resources hardly matters. Community groups, and churches should help shoulder the burdens of meals, supplies, and support for families that need it. Education itself is lacking. Children can’t pass classes when the very best is given them. Our education system needs an overhaul.

 @9J2XDC5 from Tennessee agreed…4mos4MO

Teachers create the students of the future. Without them there would be no nation to work in. We need to increase fundng to our education and provide for students in public schools.

American literacy rates will plummet resulting in a population more prone to propaganda than ever.

 @9J39BBQ from Illinois disagreed…4mos4MO

Literacy rates are decreasing as parenting styles have changed and they aren't being taught properly in schools.

If the government initiated a tax on sugar to combat obesity, how might your grocery shopping be affected?

 @9KSC558 from Pennsylvania answered…2mos2MO

Most of my foods would be more expensive given that most foods contains sugar in them.

 @9KSPNM8Democrat from Oklahoma agreed…2mos2MO

Many items have an absurd amount of sugar in them, especially cheap items. I, like many others, are trying to cut back on sugar, but it's hard when you're shopping on a budget and sugary foods are so cheap and accessible.

 @9KSC498 from California answered…2mos2MO

 @9KSCQJS from California answered…2mos2MO

I feel as though the grocery stores would be very empty and only have healthy foods and lots of fruits and veggies. Once the sugar is gone not many people would want to go grocery shopping with getting something sugary.

How would your lifestyle change if the government decided to subsidize gym memberships to promote health & wellness?

 @9JF5FQC from Texas answered…4mos4MO

I would be at the gym every day, sometimes multiple times a day if I could actually afford it because the government was subsidizing it.

 @9JF8GQ8 from California disagreed…4mos4MO

If every person had free access to gyms, they would most likely become overcrowded and that would deter me from going.

 @9JF55L4 from Texas answered…4mos4MO

 @9JF58CJRepublican from Illinois answered…4mos4MO

It would improve biggest the gym membership I have now would be cheaper

How would you feel if a government policy favored renewable energy, affecting gas station jobs in your area?

 @9KN2SPM from North Carolina answered…2mos2MO

I would love that as its better for the enviroment

 @9KPPN3M from Oklahoma agreed…2mos2MO

Renewable energy is better for the environment. Renewable energy may affect gas station jobs, but the government could provide jobs that are relevant to renewable energy.

 @9KN3MCS from Pennsylvania answered…2mos2MO

I think it would be good because it helps the environment and saves money for people once they switch to renewable energy.

If a law was introduced to cap rent increases, how do you think this would change your neighborhood?

 @9J2VFFNIndependent from Colorado answered…4mos4MO

The economy is rough as it is and we should be more focused on fixing it.

 @9J6Q9VK from Michigan disagreed…4mos4MO

Putting a cap on rent is an immediate solution for individuals while the government works on fixing the economy

 @9J2TYT7 from South Carolina answered…4mos4MO

It wouldn't change my neighborhood because most people around me do not rent, they buy houses.

 @9J3R9YG from Utah disagreed…4mos4MO

We would see a return of a young working population to my area if rent was stabilized. None of us can afford houses

 @9J2TZXV from Missouri answered…4mos4MO

None for rural areas, but in more urban areas, you might see a decline in building management as landlords try to maintain current profit margins

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2mos2MO

How do you think your community would change if the government introduced a basic living stipend for all citizens?

 @9KXZSR7 from Indiana answered…2mos2MO

You need to bring family together and promote relationships between the people.

 @9KY3WWYanswered…2mos2MO

It would provide a basic standard of living for all people, helping people in a bad situation, and helping those people to contribute more to society as a whole.

 @9KY2J3G from Maryland answered…2mos2MO

It would attract people who need a basic living stipend, requiring even more financial support in the long run.

 @9KXZLLYanswered…2mos2MO

Yes, it would raise the general morale and optimism of the community, which will kickstart development for the benefit of all.

What changes would you make to your spending habits if a luxury tax was introduced on high-priced goods?

 @9KC2P7Ranswered…3mos3MO

Obviously, any purchase of luxury items would be more scrutinized, and the overall purchases of said items would be less.

 @9KD24Q6from Maine agreed…3mos3MO

If things were more expensive I would buy them less and switch to alternative products which might cost less.

 @9KC37KK from Texas answered…3mos3MO

I would spend on the things that I need the most, instead of what I do not need.

 @9KG4HNR from Illinois disagreed…3mos3MO

I would still buy the expensive stuff, but I also know that it would increase shoplifting on these items. I made the money, i should be allowed to spend it.

 @9KC2KYYProgressive from Florida answered…3mos3MO

I would ensure that I do not spend more than I make.

 @9KDJSRX from New York agreed…3mos3MO

If I can afford the item, but not the tax. I can't afford it so if I couldn't budget for an item I wouldn't get it.

 @9KCWN9S from California answered…3mos3MO

I would protest against taxes indefinitely, since the government can just print more money.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3mos3MO
