Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes said Tuesday that his office is figuring out how to handle potential complaints over whether former President Donald Trump should be disqualified from appearing on the 2024 ballot.
The issue centers on the 14th Amendment, which prohibits people who have “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” from holding public office. Former Arkansas Gov. He openly admitted that if he lost the election then he’d deny it and say that he was cheated out. He literally said his plan, so honestly I have no reason to trust a word he’s said. In his criminal proceedings he’s FINALLY decided to shut up, and he’s trying to delay it as long as possible to the election in 2024. 91 criminal charges has a near certainty that at least 1 of them will be true, and I’m glad to see him go after everything he’s done and said.
