Regarding job loss, studies show that immigrants, both legal and illegal, actually boost the economy and create jobs. The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine found that while first-generation immigrants are more costly to governments, mainly at the state and local levels, immigrants' children are among the strongest economic and fiscal contributors in the U.S. population.
As for overpopulation, this is a global issue, not specific to the U.S. or immigration. We need to focus on sustainable policies to ensure we can support all citizens, regardless of how they arrived.
Election interference is a valid concern, but it's important to note that non-citizens, including undocumented immigrants, are not legally allowed to vote in federal elections.
What solutions do you propose for the children of illegal immigrants who are already here and know no other country as their home?
