You all do realize that Phillip Morris is getting into the pharmaceutical industry? You do realize that if this were 60 or so years ago cigarettes would be deemed "safe and effective" and the advertisements would be "9 out of 10 doctors agree that Lucky Strikes are good for your health!"? You do realize that if this were 20 years ago, Oxycotin would be deemed safe, effective, and non-addictive, right? How many people still believe in the food pyramid, that grains and flour should be a staple in everyone's diet, even more important than fruits and vegetables? How many think you should avoid all fats all together and eat a carb rich diet, eat proteins sparingly? So when "experts" are proven wrong in hindsight, at what point should we trust the experts whole cloth? Who decides what is and isn't disinformation? The people with the deepest pockets who can wine, dine, and pay off our politicians? Read all the information, use your critical-thinking skills to decide what is and isn't bull **** and don't rely on other people to tell you what to think. Btw, there is no "The Science", it's not a religion that requires belief. Science is always questioned and goes through rigorous scrutiny through the scientific method.
