Should the government require children to be vaccinated for preventable diseases?
Yes, but with exceptions for those whose religious beliefs forbid use of vaccines
Religion can only allow exemption from things that aren't a public issue (if you do not eat pork, that is a private issue and thus you are allowed to do so). However, vaccines are a public issue, sort of like having a job. You do so because that is what is required of you to exist in this society. Can anyone force you to get a vaccine? No. No one can force you to get a job, either. But there can still be consequences.
