Critical Race Theory is the belief that slavery negatively impacted black people, and that the racial issues of America today are bi-products of that. Arguing that slavery wasn't bad for black people is not only preposterous, it's completely insensitive. Furthermore, policies such as redlining and segregation as well as racist trends such as "white flight" are events that directly happened because of the inhuman enslavement of black people in America from 1619 to 1865 because it established that black people were "lesser", inhuman beings that deserved to be feared and monitored.
