Do you think it's important for a country to prioritize its own citizens' wellbeing over global cooperation, and why?

In my opinion, yes, it's important to me because let's say a person moved from Japan to the US and they wanted to vote for a new president, and he or she is not a citizen of the US because they've never lived in America before.

I think each country has its own job to protect their people. If they have the tools to help others I’m definitely not opposed to the idea. However, first and foremost their people should be their first priority.
