Can denying transgender identities potentially violate basic human rights?

To explain my opinion on the transgender topic, I do not believe those who are born one way should be treated as another on the whims of the person, as it makes everything more complicated and at the base level, is not true at all. So if a person is born as a female and later on decides they are male, they should not be treated as a male just because of their opinion, as is it something they cannot change due to the biology of the human body. The best policy is to do nothing about it, and continue to treat the person as they were originally treated.
