If business wasn't regulated, the quality coming from them would become more poor. With no interference from the government, businesses could become care free and just start making and selling things to take in more money. Without the order and direction of the government, businesses will be able to take people's money on things that aren't worth the price.

If quantity was being focused on more rather than quality, I would definitely not trust what I am consuming. the risk of sickness and other diseases is much higher.
