It would be okay until someone may get a hold of a gun or a teacher goes crazy. In this world you juts never know.

Altercations between students and teachers would be nearly impossible to avoid, and the increased rate of incidents would offset the value of stopped school shootings by opening up opportunities for biased teachers to act out and justify it by saying they “feel” threatened. A possible tool for systemic discrimination is not going to solve the core issue behind school shootings.

Having guns around children poses a huge threat, what would happen if a child got a hold of the gun in the classroom?

Introducing weapons in what should be a safe space could influence individuals to carry their own weapons, thereby increasing weapon ownership where it should be decreasing.

Indeed, everyone has that right. But it is a right of action, not equipment. Given how few schools are attacked, teachers would be the ones bringing the most weapons in - and, by the law of accidents, most shootings would likely happen with said guns.
