more than 80% of children in foster care experience abuse (sexual, verbal, and physical) also childbirth is ridiculously expensive. also, children born withing incest typically will have more mental issues than the average person. and in cases of incest and rape, the victim has already experienced much trauma and there can by much trauma due to childbirth. while i personally wouldn't get an abortion even in cases of rape, I am lucky enough to have the ability to keep the baby and i have family that will be there for me if such a tragedy occurs. while i wont get an abortion i will never thank that choice away from others.

I agree with this comment us women need abortions in the world for cases like these. Many women go through rape, incest, sexual abuse and many more child birth by itself can cause enough issues forcing someone to have a baby when they don't want to can create a lot of mental and physical issues.

I 100% agree that abortion shoukld be allowed because it is the person's body and they should have the choice of whether they want to have a child in the conditions and issues we are facing in modern day life. Especially if they are not prepared to take care of a baby because they dont have enough support, money, healthcare, shelter, income, etc.

it's fine to have one, but the word 'choice' is literally in the stance. it's just a way of giving someone the decision whether or not they want a kid, taking that away would be stupid, why take it away?

I agree with this comment. Abortion is not just a "way out" of an unplanned child, it can save the life of a person who has suffered rape, incest, or sexual abuse. Abortion shouldn't be used as a solid backup plan for choosing to not use contraceptives during consensual sex resulting in unwanted pregnancy, but it should not be taken away. You wouldn't want a teenager, child, or traumatized person adopting a child, so why would you force them to give birth to one?
