I would visit the Abraham Lincoln era to observe the Civil War, slavery, and everything Lincoln accomplished as the first Republican president.

I think that, even if time travel were a possibility, it would be ill-advised. I also think that we can get plenty of information on Lincoln's actions as president from the internet. If I had to travel back in time, there would be other times I would rather travel to than the Civil War era, as well.

I would want to go back to 1776 to see the Declaration of Independence and learn about it and see all the rights in person.

I would go back to like early china or the 1800s to see how they did things and how people reacted in the 1800s to like oil and stuff.

I would visit the 1970s to get a deeper understanding of how different times were then.
