How might your perspective on social issues be different if you were raised with an opposing set of beliefs?

they might not go with your religon because you where raised to do different things or believe different things

If you are raised with a certain set of beliefs by your family then it will be extremely hard to just switch your belief as an adult.

If your political ideals are based solely on your religious views, then its probably more difficult for you to be reasoned with. Religion exists to control the masses with fear, and the effect is "this is bad because my religion says so" not "this is bad because its its just plain wrong and stupid."

I suppose, like some people, who believe certain things based on what the Bible implies; that being raised on those beliefs might influence my opinions on social issues.

Most morality in America is based out of the bible seeing that it's a huge influence on Western Culture. I agree with the question itself but the argument against it isn't the best.

My beliefs would not have changed because there is only one truth, one way, one light and that is Jesus Christ , and God made me with a plan in mind.
