What do you consider to be the most significant barrier to higher education, and how should it be addressed?

Class. The system is good but base student loans off major.

I believe that student loans put students who may be less fortunate into debt they will be paying off for the rest of their lives and act as a disincentive to students.

Cost. Also, trade schools should be promoted more as viable secondary education.

I don't believe that barriers to higher education need to be addressed. I think it would be better if we stopped pushing higher education in the traditional sense and return to teaching trades.
