Definitely not because in this country we have the freedom of religion and if one religion is controlling laws in the country it will lead down a slippery road.

The government and the church are to be separated, and if it's just the Catholic Church who has a say, these leaves individuals who are follow other religions or none at all to be underrepresented or not represented at all.
