The two-state solution is a proposed diplomatic solution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The proposal envisions an independent State of Palestine that borders Israel. Palestinian leadership has supported the concept since the 1982 Arab Summit in Fez. In 2017 the Hamas (a Palestinian Resistance movement that controls the Gaza strip) accepted the solution without recognizing Israel as a state. The current Israeli leadership has stated that a two-state solution can only exist without Hamas and the current Palestinian leadership. The U.S. would have to take a central role in any talks bet…

A two-state solution has widespread support among Israelis and Palestinians, as well as endorsement from global leaders and organizations. It offers Palestinians self-determination and is seen as a practical way to achieve lasting peace.
@9LNYJ442wks2W
It’s as simple as look at the death rates in Palestine. If that doesn’t make you feel something then you should be locked up and no where near this topic.
The Palestinians have been radicalized and should not have a state until they demonstrate their willingness for peaceful coexistence.
@ISIDEWITH3mos3MO
No
@9LQNSKN1wk1W
The Two-State Solution for Israel and Palestine is the closest thing both sides can get to equality.
@9LNYJ442wks2W
If two state solution means that the war ends on the basis of them staying to themselves and having individual states then I absolutely agree. I believe at this point Palestinians would be grateful for this option.
The polls of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank since Oct 7 show that the vast majority continue to support Hamas and violence against Israel.
@9JMJNQL3mos3MO
In an ideal world this would work but I don't think this is realistic because both sides have expressed a disliking of that solution (especially Palestine)
@9KCS2Y42mos2MO
I don't believe this will do much help. Palestinians may be okay with this agreement, but Hamas just wants to exterminate the Jews, and this "solution" will not diminish their hatred.
@9JVMCC63mos3MO
The Palestinian state in this scenario must be demilitarized in order to assure Israel remains secure. The UN can no longer be trusted to be the international organization in charge of oversight.
@9JNL5ZDRepublican3mos3MO
I do not care what happens to Palestine after all of the terrorism they have committed against Israel. We should strive for a two-state solution, however Palestinians have refused MANY two-state solutions, and instead want to wipe Jews and Israel off of the map.
@9JM27783mos3MO
Hamas is a terrorist organization that rapes and murders Jews, and is committed to the mass slaughter of all Jews. Hamas should be obliterated, and a moderate government put in place.
@9L27D8R1mo1MO
No, because it will never work as has been proven in the past Palestinians don’t really want piece with Israel.
@9CJ6CB61mo1MO
Nor does Israel with Palestine. Both have genocidal intent, and one is far stronger than the other. There’s no solution, literally the cleanest one (not advocating for it here) would be the dissolution of Israel entirely, but that appeasement would likely not stop the Muslim world from remaining hostile.
@9JYSL9L3mos3MO
This question makes no sense because Hamas/Palestine is fighting to have a 1 state in the region without Jews.
@9JN7XJFRepublican3mos3MO
Yes, if Hamas surrenders and the Palestinians agree to peace and to root out Terrorist Organizations in there country.
@9JM2KPY3mos3MO
I believe in a two-state solution if Gaza is temporarily under the control of Israel for the reconstruction process to ensure that another Anti-Semitic or terrorist organization is not elected as their government.
@9JLXDP93mos3MO
I think that a two-state solution to the conflict could be made possible under new Palestinian leadership, as long as Hamas is not given any type of control.
@9LXB8JS3 days3D
I believe we should create a proposal saying that Israel and Palestine should have equal protection in this war, maybe the two state solution can work, but both should see each other as a state/ or place
@Aodhan.L 4 days4D
I think an end to the apartheid state is better-- something significant needs to change because the status quo is horrendous
@9LV4YKV 1wk1W
A one state solution where Israelis and Palestinians co-exist would be better, but a two state solution is better than the current situation.
@9LSLB6J1wk1W
Sure, a ceasefire would be absolutely wonderful. It would be even more great if we also stopped doing things like funding genocides and massacres without a care in the world.
No I do not support a two state solution. Since the current israeli governments whole purpose is to destroy that reality.
@9LLV2Z32wks2W
I think there should be better regulations of the two state solution of israel and palestiain because Isreal has controlled basically all of palestaine and has taken so much land over the decades. Their should be stricter way to prevent israel of taking advantage of the people of palestine.
@9LJRSWHConstitution3wks3W
We can have a two state solution but looking through history it just never worked out with one wanting more land from the other so really I think it should be a one state thats called Palestine since it was like that before and the Jews, Muslims lived in it with peace. The greed of one country makes it hard to have the solution.
@9LJ5ZD43wks3W
I don't have any knowledge of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. which could cause bias determination.
@9LH77SM3wks3W
They should be completely separate entities with no impact on each other. Palestinians should gain all their land back and Israel's power should be limited greatly.
@9LGVP4H3wks3W
Yes, but not with the current administration and state of Israel's government. They are rotten to the core and utterly fascistic. Netanyahu must be deposed and a more peaceful leader who is open for negotiation appointed by the people of Israel. Additionally, the United States must show some backbone and oppose Israel's expansionism and blatant violations of international laws, with force if necessary.
@JcawolfsonIndependent 3wks3W
I support a United State solution where there are different providences and power is equally shared between Israel and Palestine. However, the people of that region must strive for it.
@9LFNTP43wks3W
No, nation-states should not be allowed and it makes it far too easy for Israel to continue its offensive against Palestine under the pretense of warring states.
@9LB26GTIndependent4wks4W
Yes, but I also support the end of all diseases. Reality shows that Palestinians have never wanted two states, which is why there arent.
@9L8RKPD1mo1MO
No, I support a one state solution with Palestine as the sole country - Arabs, Muslims, Christians, Jews, etc can all live there, but the Zionist government and apartheid state needs to go.
@9L7VTWD1mo1MO
REVELATION 2:9
"I know the blasphemy of them that say they are Jews and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan”.
The so called Jewish people around the world today in large-scale have genetic similarities to Central and Eastern
European and Slavic populations meaning genetically they are not descendants from the Middle East.
Instead, Virtually all the so called Jews today came from the North Caucasus, located along the border between Europe and Asia between the Black and Caspian seas. Europeans who converted to Judaism. Simple.
@9L7P6NQ1mo1MO
No, the two nations can’t coexist in peace, so one needs to be destroyed in order to save humanity from complete destruction
NO. Israel stole and occupied that land ILLEGALLY and VIOLENTLY. They do not deserve to keep stolen land at any capacity.
@9L6367K1mo1MO
Yes, but only if the border between Palestine and Israel remains protected to prevent Israel invading again, and we should support Palestine and help them rehabilitate
@9L5ZRHD1mo1MO
I think that the two state solution is far too simple because of the deep rooted history. I think we need to find ways so that they can live together in peace.
@LucidLibertarian 1mo1MO
Yes, but it should be done without the interference of our government. Nations should use diplomacy to resolve conflicts and determine the best means of negotiations.
@9L4TWNP1mo1MO
Israel has proven that they will not co-exist peacefully, and therefore a two-state solution is impossible without direct supervision by a higher organization.
@9L4LJPP1mo1MO
No, this is not a U.S problem, we need to focus on our own country before putting ourselves in other countries political problems.
@9KZZVGYLibertarian 1mo1MO
Assuming Palestine choses to be a legitimate constitutional republic or democracy, with elected officials who are not terrorists
@9L3MXQGRepublican1mo1MO
I have better things to worry about, I think it would be really easy for us to intervene though and end it entirely.
@9L3KDQXIndependent1mo1MO
A two-state solution would not work because Gaza and the West Bank are in different locations, it would rather be a three-state solution.
@9L3DR7Z1mo1MO
The Palestinians should be given back. their rightful land and be freed from Israeli genocide against them #FREE PALESTINE!!!!
@9L32W281mo1MO
Israel repeatedly offered the Palestinian authorities a two-state solution, even including making East Jeruzalem the capital of a Palestinian state. This was always rejected by the Palestinian authorities because they wanted all Jews gone. Hamas had repeatedly said there will be many more October 7ths untill all Jews are dead or gone. Israel needs to root out Hamas from the Gaza strip. If Israel does not destroy Hamas, Hamas will attack again. If Israel fights back, the world blames Israel. Hamas' whole strategy is to hide between civilians. These are a war crimes, yet Israel is blamed for deaths.
@9L2LTFK1mo1MO
They should be able to live in peace, but Israel is committing international war crimes and should not be allowed to continue how they are. Palestine deserves their land back, it doesn't belong to Israel anymore, they should live peacefully.
@9L2B6GZ1mo1MO
They already tried that, it failed. America should leave it be ,we already lost respect from other countries by engaging in it.
@9KZZ4MT1mo1MO
Someone came into my house stole half my house and said deal with it and has killed half my family, that ain't cool
@9KKMZHH2mos2MO
I do not believe the USA should be spending any money on this conflict, other than humanitarian aid. The USA is not neighbors with Israel or Palestine. Countries geographically closer should bare the burden of ending the war.
