How would you feel about your personal information being handled solely by private companies without legal privacy frameworks?

I would feel much safer and freer, because in a Min-archist society, private companies would be accountable for violations of contract law, so they would obtain only that information I gave them permission to have, or *lawsuit*.

I feel that it should be offered for me to give consent rather than having it just given away since it is my personal information
