Why do you think some people struggle to understand the concept of 'white privilege' and how would you explain it?
@9KJ77XTIndependent3mos3MO
deeply rooted ego and avoidance of general social beliefs. Also today we prioritize minorities over white people regardless of occupational/academic value in order to seem "diverse"

I know that "white privilege" is real, and being mixed has definitely brought that to my attention. I get more attention from older white people than my fully black friend Sasha does, and it can be frustrating. I also have seen it when it's just me and my white friend Trinity, people look at us kind of weird when they see us together and normally the waiters look at her and ask her questions instead of me. So I believe that the struggle with understanding "white privilege" comes from being uneducated or just blind and deaf.
