If key health policies were made with religious intent the impact would likely be that the policies are more strict on what is and is not allowed for certain cases. Which would likely cost lives. For example some religions don’t believe in blood transfusions so if they create the policy they may say there cannot be blood transfusions which would make any surgery hard. This is of course an extreme example.

Religious ideologies would be forced upon those in medical situations which may not be appropriate for the patient for many reason
