Do you support the use of nuclear energy?
No, we should invest in cleaner alternatives such as wind, hydroelectric, thorium, and geothermal
The biggest reason is the cost-to-energy product ratio, it is easer and cheaper to set up nuclear energy with it also being able to produce much more energy then renewable energy can with the same amount of resources. I also think that these 2 scenarios are not mutually exclusive and can both happen, just if we want the fastest solution to making fossil fuels unnecessary Nuclear is the way to go. Most of the ideas against nuclear energy come from fearmongering about disasters that have happened decades ago and rarely happen as we advance in safety of these power plants. Especially with Thorium itself being a type of nuclear reactor, and the recent advancements in the area of Cold Fusion!!
