Seeing communities throw so much money at problems through bonds, like the $1.25 billion in Dallas, definitely makes me raise an eyebrow. It's like we're forgetting that every dollar spent by the government was first taken from someone's pocket. I appreciate the focus on infrastructure and education, but we've got to remember that throwing money at issues isn't the only solution. It's encouraging to see people actively participating in local governance, though I hope we're also considering efficiency and not just expansion.
