This is insane. How can you use illegal and benefits in same sentence? Someone should not become a citizen just because they gave birth here. Mexico for sure does not allow this, and the rest of the world with exception for two other countries. This way of taxing others to pay for such expenses is insane.

 @928PJ8QConstitution from California commented…5mos

No, and the government should never subsidize healthcare

Unfortunately that opinion isn't insane in C*lifornia

End all borders...

@8PRSDMFRepublican from Texas commented…2yrs

No, and we should deport all illegal immigrants No No, but they should be allowed to purchase private healthcare No, and the government should never subsidize healthcare

ok. Go to North Korea I don't care let's see how you turn out

@7PD2Q7FSocialist from Missouri commented…2yrs

Yes, if they pay taxes

Ok. Interesting response figuring north korea has no relevance to a conversation about allowing illegal immigrants to have access to healthcare nor does it apply to the dissolution of borders. also you care enough to type out a response so...

Yes, but only for life threatening emergencies or infectious diseases, and then all illegal aliens should be deported to the southern coastal waters of Cuba, via rubber rafts.

the big red number in the right is our astronomical debt. its at 27 trillion dollars right now. the us gains approximately 125 billion dollars of debt each day. to put 27 trillion in perspective, its 27 000 000 000 000

@8PRSDMFRepublican from Texas commented…2yrs

No, and we should deport all illegal immigrants No No, but they should be allowed to purchase private healthcare No, and the government should never subsidize healthcare

just because we are rich doesn't mean we should waste 100+ billion dollars a year on illegals. This is like going to jeff Bezos house and breaking in, then asking for a free Lambo

@4Q8DJCBfrom Minnesota  answered…2yrs

Illegal immigrants should receive required medical treatment to prevent and/or cure communicable diseases with which they are afflicted. The threat of deportation should not be in play, with the idea that sick people will be willing to get treatment if they feel "safe." Illegal immigrants should not be issued driver's licenses, nor should they be permitted to vote. Employers who willingly and knowingly hire illegal immigrants should be heavily fined. Employers who do not file tax info on any and all employees should also be heavily fined. This is cheating in my mind and should not be tolerated. No jobs, no possibility of "under the table" employment will quickly resolve the immigration problem. Americans seem to always want to get stuff "for cheap." This mentality is the problem.

@4PXZ7G9from Ohio  answered…2yrs

It depends on who you're referring to? Caucasian/British immigrants were NOT here 1st! Anyone living in America should pay taxes.

Yes, If we deny basic and/or emergency health services to people residing or visiting in this country, then we are all at risk for infectious diseases, declining standards for the poor. We'll eventually end up living behind walls like in Mexico City, with barbed wire on the top to keep out the poor, needy and people who turn to crime, thievery, etc. because they have no other options. It's ridiculous that we aren't offering healthcare to all human beings - when the Koch brothers and Wall Street can rob us blind and rape our financial system --- shameful!

@4SNPXK8from Kansas  answered…2yrs

No and deport all immigrants to Guantanamo Bay to undergo torture to find out everything they know.

@4RK74JBfrom California  answered…2yrs

Gov has been a co-conspirator to illegal immigration. For years, when it was beneficial to business in this country, illegal immigration was not dealt with, and laws and penalties on the books were not enforced. Current illegals in residence should be allowed to stay if employed, and paying taxes, and actively seeking nationalization. Future illegals should be dealt with as allowed by law.

@4PXJH63from Virginia  answered…2yrs

Illegal aliens or if you must "immigrants", have broken our laws of entry, and should be eligible for nothing. that said, if there is an emergency situation /or they have an infectious disease, when they arrive yes by all means let them get treated at govt expense. If they have been here over three months, they should seek private insurance like the rest of us. They have had time. If they seek govt assistance for any reason, they should be detained and turned over to ICE and deported as soon as possible. If there is an "anchor baby", new born, it goes back to the country the mother came

@8PRYFTJIndependent from Texas commented…2yrs

You are considered a U.S. citizen if you are born inside the country.

yea ik but what he is saying is that it is stupid

@4SLPPMQfrom Pennsylvania  answered…2yrs

I don't think at this point they deserve anything from our country they get enough....even more than people born as Americans they come and take our jobs they seem to make more money than us as far as I am concerned they need to get out and go back to where they came from

@4Q2WMH4from Washington  answered…2yrs

i think they should because it will allow them to build a life or as they say "The American Dream".

@4Q3NHZTfrom Connecticut  answered…2yrs

Immigrants are PEOPLE !! are HUMAN !!

@8PXMNXF  from New Jersey commented…2yrs

But we will lose money

@7PD2Q7FSocialist from Missouri commented…2yrs

Yes, if they pay taxes

we have an over inflated defense budget. if you're really worried about our money situation I recommend addressing that big spender right there

@8RBRJTR from Texas commented…2yrs

medicare, medicaid, and social security are actually bigger spenders than our defense budget. we should decrease all government spending across the board, as we have accumulated a massive debt, 27 000 000 000 000

@4Q3F826from New York  answered…2yrs

No, but they should be allowed to purchase private healthcare provided that they have a visa or green card (otherwise, deport them).

@4WN89FHfrom North Carolina  answered…2yrs

Yes, as long as they have to pay taxes, and are deported after tretment

@7PD2Q7FSocialist from Missouri commented…2yrs

Yes, if they pay taxes

So they have to pay taxes while they are here and when you finish treating them you kick them out??? Essentially extorting them...

All taxpayers should be granted citizenship. NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION, right

@4WWZMGSfrom California  answered…2yrs

Life threatening health care should be given. They should have fingerprints taken as part of the process. Then given a path to citizenship. If path is not started then next time health care is needed it will be given followed by work program to pay for previous costs. If path to citizenship is not followed a 3rd time immediate deportation and 10 year ban on citizen process.
