I agree with that because not only will it prevent them to commit any crimes and it can also convince them to become citizens of America.

Immigration healthcare is a very important aspect. As a child of Immigrants, I think that every human being deserves the right to be treated equally and given all of the same opportunities whether they were born there or not. As the Author states, this makes people much less likely to commit crimes and even builds up the community as one whole family. Healthcare is a necessary resource so all people should have access to some form of it.

I agree, because they are already here either way they are not going to leave, so it is best they do things legally and help as a whole instead of causing destruction only because they were not born here. They want to achieve the American dream for their children and family for them to be successful.

My thoughts are yes treat illegal immigrants evenly and fair but not for the reason that they will do harm when not given these opportunities.

 @9G8ZVVYRepublican from Nebraska disagreed…6mos6MO

If someone is not a citizen of the US then the government should not treat them like a US citizen. Spending money on their health care, housing, education, etc takes away the opportunity for hard working American citizens to have these rights as well. US citizens needs should always come first.

No they should be deported although they could help the economy this could lower our border for drug cartels and terrorist to access our country.

 @9GBK2PB from Florida disagreed…6mos6MO

Illegal immigrants came through our borders illegally. It's not fair that the citizens of the United States and those legally going through, or went through the citizenship process have to suffer because they couldn't respect our nations policies, and national security.

  @Sh4dowXkilla7  from North Carolina disagreed…6mos6MO

Illegal immigrants arrived here illegally, without going through the necessary application processes. If we allow many people who will break the law entering the country, what stops them from breaking the law even further when they get in? Illegal immigrants would also abuse and exploit the resources that are handed to them, just for simply getting over here. Illegal immigrants have no incentives to work hard or improve the community. Since they are not citizens of the country, they can break as many laws as they want (since they had no preconceived notion of breaking a law by entering without due process.) Illegal immigrants would simply break more laws and abuse the assistance given to them, and do nothing to help others around them or the nation as a whole.

Its important to consider that giving illegal immigrants the same benefits as citizens could potentially encourage more illegal immigration. For instance, if people know they can receive the same benefits despite not going through the legal process, it might disincentivize them from pursuing legal immigration. What solutions could we implement to ensure fair treatment without inadvertently encouraging illegal immigration?

 @SwingStateMandrillRepublicanfrom Kansas disagreed…6mos6MO

While it's true that fair treatment could potentially deter criminal activity, it's important to consider the economic impact. Providing the same opportunities, specifically in terms of healthcare, to illegal immigrants as citizens can put a strain on our already stretched healthcare system. For instance, California, a state with a high population of immigrants, has seen a substantial increase in healthcare costs due to this. Might there be a more balanced approach that addresses both the humanitarian and economic aspects of this issue?

 @D3baterBobbyRepublican from New York disagreed…6mos6MO

It's an intriguing perspective you offer, yet research indicates that immigration status isn't a significant predictor of criminal engagement. For example, a study published in the journal Criminology found that states with higher percentages of undocumented immigrants tended to have lower crime rates.

However, treating illegal immigrants evenly and giving them the same opportunities as citizens might pose challenges such as potential strain on public resources. For instance, if government-subsidized healthcare is extended to all, it could potentially lead to increased healthcare costs for citizens due to increased demand and limited supply.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on how we might balance ensuring everyone has access to necessary healthcare, while also addressing concerns about potential strain on resources.

Ban all illegal immigrants they should have no rights no protections no aid and no support there is no need to counter such a terrible position illegal immigrants need to either be deported or killed they dont belong here and are a threat to the US

 @9G8ZYVGfrom Maine agreed…6mos6MO

I agree because if an illegal immigrant has been in the country for over a decade, I believe they know the seriousness of the crimes that they could do. On top of that, they already have knowledge of how everything works and should be granted a voice like any other.

 @9G97ZX4 from California agreed…6mos6MO

I do agree with this comment, my parents are immigrants and I think they deserve to be treated equally as a human should, we are all just trying to live day by day and being treated like a “alien” or foreigner is a great effect on someone mental health and stability to achieve greatness if they don’t get the support they need.

 @9G9266M from Washington agreed…6mos6MO

I agree with this comment because a lot of events that happen in our community is because the government is not hearing on what immigrants have to say. This would decrease the misshapen of various serious factors happening if the president would be fair and respectful to the ones who are not born in the United States.

 @9G922JSagreed…6mos6MO

I wholeheartedly agree with this statement, almost all illegal immigrants that come into the U.S do so in hopes of obtaining a new and better life and that can only be accomplished if they are treated and given the same respect as other citizens do because at the end of the day they are human beings just like everyone else.
