Is it fair for a state to suspend an individual's gun license if they use their firearm in self-defense within their own home?

 @9H3N9YF from Washington answered…6mos6MO

It is wrong for the state to suspend his gun license sense he used it for self-defense and it goes against the second amendment.Overall he was using his gun to defend him and his family, he most likely did not plan on hurting the other person.

It is both prudent and morally justifiable to limit one's access to firearms while they are being investigated for a crime.

 @9H3MLWB from Louisiana answered…6mos6MO

No, because they were being harmed and attacked so they used their guns to defend them. So I believe they shouldn't.

A man doing the correct thing, protecting his family is punished but others who do the wrong thing are let go free and clear! Our current government is evil!

 @RightistDeerLibertarian from Tennessee commented…6mos6MO

2A limits the government from doing that, yet here we are just letting them. Any state, county, or city/town that does not abide by the Constitution and Amendments should be taken to court

 @HumanRightsPup from Michigan commented…6mos6MO

He doesn't need a permit. The Constitution affords us all the right to keep guns. It doesn't say those with permits.

 @S0cialJustic3QuokkaConstitution from Michigan commented…6mos6MO

That falls under infringement... but of course so does the 'permit' which is nothing more than an tax to keep the poor from gun ownership, and track the ones that can afford it.

 @SincereCardinal from Tennessee commented…6mos6MO

Permits prevent illegal gun carrying about as well as our southern border prevents illegal entry into the country.

 @LyingLionfrom Georgia commented…6mos6MO

Took his permit away because he "yelled" at the police officers because he thought they were half assing the investigation.

 @SincereCardinal from Tennessee commented…6mos6MO

They're more interested in stopping his conceal permit than catching any criminals.

This is the State reminding us of our place and the privileges it extends to us. The State no longer serves We The People.

The State doesn't protect our rights. A piece of paper called the Constitution doesn't protect our rights. Judges don't protect our rights.

We do.

Our Constituion is clear. Our right to defend ourselves is granted by GOD not man.
