Electric car batteries are warrantied for 100k miles. Sorry but facts.

I drive that in 2 years. Granted regular batteries are far from 100% reliable, but the last one I needed to replace was almost 10 years ago and was $200. Sorry but that makes the choice easy for me.

There's also the issue of charging. I frequently am driving for most of the day to monitor job sites. I don't have time to sit around and wait for the vehicle to charge. Maybe if hybrid battery prices came down I could get on board with that, as long as I still have the option for gasoline when I need it. As long as a hybrid truck can do everything I need it to do.

I'm not on board with electric. However, you're lying when it comes to needing a battery every 5 years. Should last conservatively closer to 20 years
