Here are your answers compared to this voter’s answers.
Social › Gay Marriage
4>4 Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Equal Pay
4>4 Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Gun Control
4>4 Personal answerYes |
Immigration › Muslim Immigrant Ban
4>4 Personal answerWe must in all humanity accept those wishing to immigrate, whose alternative is living under a terroristic and murderous regime. Unsure how this can be monitored. |
Social › Planned Parenthood Funding
4>4 Personal answerplanned parenthood could be a pro-bono endeavor of big pharma |
the Economy › Minimum Wage
4>4 Personal answerNo, most minimum wage jobs are meant to develop experience, not support a family |
the Environment › Climate Change
4>4 Personal answergov has demonstrated that they cannot correctly monitor many important issues: they succumb to pressure of big lobbyists, they don't appear to have adequate systems in place to adequately monitor compliance with existing regulations. Would this improve if responsibility for monitoring regs were privatized?? |
the Economy › Paid Sick Leave
4>4 Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Term Limits
4>4 Personal answerYes |
Education › Student Loans
4>4 Personal answerWhy not do something to lower the tuition cost? I attended UCLA in 1960's and the tuition was $60 per semester (did not include on-campus residence). I spent about $100/semester additional on books. The average full time wage of most of our friends then was about $10k per year, making the cost of tuition and books 1.6% of gross yearly income in 1960. Today UCLA tuition for a CA resident is approx $13k, and median household income is approx $48k, making tuition cost 27% of household income. What happened??? How did we get in this situation? This is indecent, immoral, highly discriminatory, and contributing to the breakdown of society. |
Immigration › Immigration
4>4 Personal answerNo |
Healthcare › Marijuana
4>4 Personal answercertainly YES for medical reasons. I have an epileptic family member who took every anti-seizure med available with no relief (and many serious side effects). He was given marijuana, and while taking this was totally free of seizures. So, it has some incredible medical assets, but if it's so powerful as to mitigate seizures, it should not be considered for open use by the general population, until proven otherwise. |
Domestic Policy › No-Fly List Gun Control
4>4 Personal answerBasically NO. It seems reasonable that if a person is a terrorist, they have ready access to guns in spite of any existing laws to the contrary. |
Immigration › Illegal Immigrant Detainment
4>4 Personal answerNo, only if they are convicted of a violent crime |
Healthcare › Medicaid
4>4 Personal answerNO. First put an end to big pharm.'s criminal costs for medicines and services. Secondly, prevention of chronic diseases is highly controllable thru nutrition and exercise. We know the incredible dangers and havoc reaped by such common food additives such as high fructose corn syrup. The ever increasing rates of diabetes and other diseases indicate this. We must stop treating the effects of poor nutrition, and get rid of the causative agents, as many other countries have already done. Big pharma and manufacturers and marketers of junk food have turned our medical system into the folly of idiots. We cannot contain, and lessen, medical costs until we stop the rising incidence of chronic diseases within our control. |
Immigration › Border Security
4>4 Personal answerEnforce existing law, or change it. |
Immigration › Immigration Healthcare
4>4 Personal answerGov has been a co-conspirator to illegal immigration. For years, when it was beneficial to business in this country, illegal immigration was not dealt with, and laws and penalties on the books were not enforced. Current illegals in residence should be allowed to stay if employed, and paying taxes, and actively seeking nationalization. Future illegals should be dealt with as allowed by law. |
Elections › Voter Fraud
4>4 Personal answerYes. Getting a photo ID can be free |
Immigration › Immigrant Laborers
4>4 Personal answerYes, create a simple path to citizenship for immigrants with no criminal record |
the Economy › Government Spending
4>4 Personal answerNo, increase taxes on large multinational corporations instead |
Immigration › Immigrant Assimilation
4>4 Personal answerYes |
Crime › Solitary Confinement for Juveniles
4>4 Personal answerI really have no answer for this. Maybe rehab should be shared by the parents of confirmed juveniles, and the juvenile could be confned to his home under the supervision of his parents. It seems that responsibilities should be shared by an underage crime's parents, unless he is a threat to society. |
Immigration › Skilled Immigrants
4>4 Personal answerI am satisfied with the current amount |
the Economy › Labor Unions
4>4 Personal answerHelp, in theory but have recently become corrupt and should have their powers limited |
the Economy › Capital Gains Tax
4>4 Personal answerNo |
Immigration › In-State Tuition
4>4 Personal answerYes, but only students here now. All future illegals should not have the rights given to non-illegals. |
Education › Common Core
4>4 Personal answerNational standards sound good, but obviously something is missing when we set forth standards and do not address certain other, non-educational things that enable children to learn, and want to learn: respect, appreciation, curiosity, compassion, support from society. |
Healthcare › Obamacare
4>4 Personal answerfirst choice is to not have gov involved in healthcare, but have philanthropic groups that support needed healthcare for all. Pie in the sky? |
Foreign Policy › Terrorism
4>4 Personal answerDo you loose "inalienable" rights when you are accused of a crime? |
Science › Space Exploration
4>4 Personal answerNo, we should focus on saving the Earth instead of leaving it |
the Economy › Offshore Banking
4>4 Personal answerNo |
the Economy › Federal Reserve
4>4 Personal answerSounds like incest to me. They certainly need to be audited (maybe by GAO ?) and produce figures at any point in time indicative of true stability. |
the Economy › Farm Subsidies
4>4 Personal answerYes, but only for organic farms |
the Economy › Property Taxes
4>4 Personal answerYes, property taxes rates do not reflect the owners ability to pay |
the Economy › Pension Reform
4>4 Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Bitcoin
4>4 Personal answernot enough info |
the Economy › Trans-Pacific Partnership
4>4 Personal answerI do not have enough information about this |
