Domestic Policy › Gun Control
9>9 Personal answerA personal issue regarding firearms happens to go against certain models and makes manufactured and sold before 1979. For example, the Israeli-issued "Uzi", russian-manufactured AK-47, Ingram Macs 10-12 SMGs, and anything of the iconic "gangbanger" variety firearm are fairly frowned upon gun choices, as is most synonymous with gang violence and general bad image of gun owners. However, the absolute limit for gun-purchases should be to ban the purchase of anything specifically special forces grade, I.E. high-power LMGs such as the MG-42 machine gun. However, I do also believe that certain gun types should not be carried within 500 ft or so from schools, I.E. automatic rifles or long-ranged rifles intended to do harm from a drastic distance. Houses that neighbor the border of a school zone should be affected by this, but otherwise, with the right amount of accountability and responsible use of these firearms, no real restrictions should be made (unless it's like, a grenade launcher or rpg of course.) |
