Here are your answers compared to this voter’s answers.
Social › LGBT Adoption Rights
JS>JS Personal answerYes |
Social › Abortion
JS>JS Personal answerPro-choice, and providing birth control, sex education, and more social services will help reduce the number of abortions |
Social › Gay Marriage
JS>JS Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Gun Control
JS>JS Personal answerI believe purchasing a firearm should require a waiting period, psychological evaluation, background checks and a training course. I also believe the gun show loophole should be closed. |
Crime › Police Body Cameras
JS>JS Personal answerYes. I believe the police should be held to a higher standard than the citizens they protect. I believe that if a police officer is doing something he doesn't want recorded, he shouldn't be doing it. |
Social › Marital Rape
JS>JS Personal answerYes |
Social › Gun Buyback
JS>JS Personal answerI believe that owning an assault rifle is not inherently an issue. I also wouldn't agree that the average person needs to be able to own an assault rifle to be able to effectively express their 2nd amendment rights. I believe in the current place of the world, we see more school shootings in America than anywhere else, and a staggering number of those involve AR-15s. To me, the issue isn't about the gun, it's a cause and effect issue to mitigate the death of children right now while we work on the country. I have no intention of giving greater rights to someone who wants to own a rifle for enjoyment over a child's life. Laws can change in the future, but we need change now. |
Social › Gender Transition
JS>JS Personal answerThis topic is complex because of the idea of puberty. It only happens once and it's probably the best time to change sides if you're going to do it. I don't believe anybody can make this choice before their 25. I also believe that the perceived increase in gender dysphoria is coincides with an epidemic of mental health in our country. |
Social › Gender Identity
JS>JS Personal answerI don't believe anyone should be discriminated against for a personal life choice that doesn't negatively affect others. I do not believe a corporation should be able to discriminate against someone for their beliefs and I do not believe a corporation should be awarded the rights of the constitution, I am a firm believer in separation of church and state. |
Social › Transgender Athletes
JS>JS Personal answerNo, there should be divisions for male, female and open that welcomes all athletes. I do not believe that a man is inherently stronger and more capable than a woman, but I believe the likelihood of it being an unfair advantage to the opponents is very high. |
Social › Planned Parenthood Funding
JS>JS Personal answerYes, their services reach far beyond abortions and can save many lives through cancer screening, prenatal services, and adoption referrals |
Domestic Policy › Armed Teachers
JS>JS Personal answerNo, hire professionally trained security guards instead |
the Environment › Climate Change
JS>JS Personal answerYes, and provide more incentives for alternative energy production |
the Economy › Taxes
JS>JS Personal answerYes |
Elections › Mental competency testing
JS>JS Personal answerAll politicians should be required to take a mental competency test in order to hold office and we should place term limits on supreme court justices and members of the senate and house of representatives. |
Social › Racial Sensitivity Training
JS>JS Personal answerYes, as long as it covers all protected groups (age, sex, race, disability, sexual orientation, religion) and is not based on critical race theory |
Education › Critical Race Theory in K-12 Education
JS>JS Personal answerNo, kids should be raised to be racially color blind instead of being taught they are inherently racist or disadvantaged based on the color of their skin |
Education › Student Loans
JS>JS Personal answerYes |
Social › Death Penalty
JS>JS Personal answerI don't believe in the death penalty. I believe that the prison system is overcrowded with petty convictions in the sake of profit. I believe offenders should spend life in prison, and I believe the tax burden could be greatly reduced with better criminal rehabilitation and greatly reducing the number of incarcerated Americans. |
Education › Free College for All
JS>JS Personal answerYes |
Social › Hate Speech
JS>JS Personal answerNo, freedom of speech laws should only protect you from criticizing the government |
Social › Confederate Flag
JS>JS Personal answerNo, it is a symbol of racism, separatism and treason |
Domestic Policy › No-Fly List Gun Control
JS>JS Personal answerYes, but not until the no-fly list screening process is improved for accuracy and includes due process |
Social › Government Mandates
JS>JS Personal answerI believe health insurance providers should be required to offer birth control if it will help a patient through an underlying health problem such as a painful cyst that gets worse when a woman is menstruating, however I don't think it should be required to be free if it is used to avoid pregnancy. In the case that the patient has no health issues and "needs" the birth control in a way, they should be able to pay for it on their own. |
Social › Women in Combat
JS>JS Personal answerYes |
Healthcare › Medicaid
JS>JS Personal answerYes |
Science › Mandatory Vaccinations
JS>JS Personal answerYes |
Crime › Private Prisons
JS>JS Personal answerNo, private prisons will sacrifice quality of care and rehabilitation services for profit |
Social › Gender Workplace Diversity
JS>JS Personal answerI don't believe in requirements for employees of any sex or race. I see that as discrimination just the same as denying those positions. I believe equality should be provided through opportunity. Provide more opportunities to more people. |
Crime › Qualified Immunity for Police
JS>JS Personal answerNo, and increase the personal liability for misconduct |
Elections › Campaign Finance
JS>JS Personal answerYes, politicians should not be bought by wealthy donors |
Immigration › Immigration Healthcare
JS>JS Personal answerYes |
Social › Safe Spaces
JS>JS Personal answerI don't exactly agree with this because I don't believe we can avoid the difficult things in life all the time and we have to face them to grow. To that point, I believe we all go through hard times and some go through more than others. Those people should be accommodated as necessary so they can perform and contribute to society with their degrees. |
Elections › Voter Fraud
JS>JS Personal answerI believe that requiring an ID to vote can be a good idea. We require an ID for lots of things, and for voting it seems to make sense. But I also believe for this to be a feasible option that the ability to obtain an id must improve. Requirements can include proof of residence and cost, which not every citizen is always able to obtain. |
Healthcare › COVID Employment Health Pass
JS>JS Personal answerYes |
Elections › Minimum Voting Age
JS>JS Personal answerYes, any citizen that pays taxes should be allowed to vote |
Social › First Amendment
JS>JS Personal answerYes. I firmly believe in separation of church and state and I believe the only way that can be done is absolutely. |
Immigration › Border Wall
JS>JS Personal answerNo |
Crime › Defunding the Police
JS>JS Personal answerI believe that police funding should be directed toward training involving conflict resolution and de-escalation, while I also believe social and community based programs should be better funded. |
Crime › Solitary Confinement for Juveniles
JS>JS Personal answerYes |
Social › Niqāb
JS>JS Personal answerYes |
Social › Euthanasia
JS>JS Personal answerYes |
Crime › Mandatory minimum prison sentences
JS>JS Personal answerNo |
Elections › Right of Foreigners to Vote
JS>JS Personal answerNo, only legal citizens should be allowed to vote |
Social › Frozen Embryos Legal Status
JS>JS Personal answerNo |
Crime › Demilitarize the Police
JS>JS Personal answerNo, extreme situations should be handled by higher agencies with specialized training and equipment |
Immigration › In-State Tuition
JS>JS Personal answerYes |
the Environment › Oil Drilling
JS>JS Personal answerNo, but maintain our current offshore oil wells |
Social › Teacher and Faculty Diversity Training
JS>JS Personal answerDiversity training should be included just like any other part of training, but it shouldn't be any more significant than the rest. |
Foreign Policy › United Nations
JS>JS Personal answerYes |
Healthcare › Obamacare
JS>JS Personal answerYes |
Elections › Candidate Transparency
JS>JS Personal answerI believe that being the president should be the most scrutinized position in the country and I believe that providing tax returns should not be seen as a violation of rights. |
Elections › Mail in ballots
JS>JS Personal answerYes |
Foreign Policy › Military Spending
JS>JS Personal answerI believe spending should be decreased, but I don't believe that means we have to reduce our military. I believe military spending on weapons and contractors among other things is greatly inflated due to corruption. I just want to see my taxes get distributed in the way they are intended and used correctly. |
Social › Student Diversity Training
JS>JS Personal answerI believe there should not be diversity training for students, students should learn about diversity |
Crime › Collective Bargaining
JS>JS Personal answerYes, and abolish police unions. I do not believe that a servant of the federal goverment should be protected from its citizens. I believe the police union creates a fraternity sentiment that result in an increase of corruption in law enforcement. I believe police offers should be required to obtain a 4 year degree in criminology and be compensated at closer to 100k/yr. |
Elections › Electoral College
JS>JS Personal answerI don't necessarily think the electoral college should be abolished but I believe that gerrymandering at the state and local levels causes rural areas with less population to cast an equal or more significant vote compared to high population areas. |
Science › Nuclear Energy
JS>JS Personal answerYes |
Crime › Drug Trafficking Penalties
JS>JS Personal answerNo |
Elections › Criminal Politicians
JS>JS Personal answerYes, as long as it was not a felony, violent, financial, or sexual crime |
Science › GMO Labels
JS>JS Personal answerYes |
Crime › Prison Overcrowding
JS>JS Personal answerI believe that reducing arresting and jailing offenders with non-violent misdemeanors would greatly reduce the burden of overcrowding and provide a better chance at rehabilitation and not become institutionalized early on. |
Education › Universal Pre-K
JS>JS Personal answerYes, as long as parents also have the option to send their child to private school |
Housing › Homeless Encampments
JS>JS Personal answerI believe that making it a crime to be homeless will only increase the homelessness problem |
Transportation › Public Transportation
JS>JS Personal answerYes, and provide more free public transportation |
Social › Employee Diversity Training
JS>JS Personal answerYes, If the company is private the company can require training that is not discriminatory |
Crime › Criminal Voting Rights

Foreign Policy › Terrorism
JS>JS Personal answerNo, they should be tried in military tribunals but not subject to torture |
