Failure pass the background check shall be an appealable determination but if the appeal is successful the rejecting authority shall pay the cost of the appeal to the appellant. If the appeal is sustained the appellant shall pay the cost of the defense of the rejection to the the rejecting party. |

If the individual has an XY, that individual must participate as a male unless he has undergone a sex change and has completed the transition. The same for an individual who has an XX sex link gene. That person genetically is a female, and unless she has undergone the complete sex transition, she must participate as a female. |

Social › Planned Parenthood Funding
8>8 Personal answerNo |
the Economy › Minimum Wage
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Domestic Policy › Armed Teachers
8>8 Personal answerYes but only after the teacher or the school staff member in question has been background checked by the FBI and State Police in the resident state. Subsequently thoroughly trained in the safe use of their firearm and proven their marksmanship to a licensed or certified firearms instructor. They must be taught when and how to use their firearm and how to properly maintain it. Additionally, the local law enforcement agency shall issue to the individual(s) in training some form of wearable identification so they will not be mistaken for an active shooter. |
the Environment › Climate Change
8>8 Personal answerIt's not possible to prevent climate change. The climate changes all the time as a matter of natural balance. The most we as humans can do is take reasonable measures to mitigate the worst outcomes of climate change. We, humans, are part of nature, and naturally, we will have some impact on nature, as do all living organisms at some level or other. |

Domestic Policy › Drug Policy
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Domestic Policy › Term Limits
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Taxes
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Domestic Policy › Muslim Surveillance
8>8 Personal answerYes, when a person is sick they see the doc more often. When a community has a real or perceived tendency toward violence they need more consistent police oversight. The individuals who complain about cops cruising their neighborhood frequently have a very good but self-serving reason for their complaint. They feel the police breathing down their necks and don't like it because it prevents them from having a free hand to do whatever it is they want to do. |

Education › Student Loans

Education › Free College for All
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Social › Death Penalty
8>8 Personal answerNo, but that is based on my religious beliefs. I agree there are crimes that I could easily support the execution of an individual, except that such an act affirms that there is no way God could redeem that person, and I can not accept that. On the spur of the moment, if I caught someone raping another person or sexually abusing a child or someone in the act of committing treason or selling drugs on or within 1,000 yards of a school, I would stop what was going on and if in doing so I killed the perp so be it regretfully and reluctantly it was necessary at that time to stop greater damage to innocents. I would nonetheless feel the black mark on my soul until I had confessed and received absolution. |
Immigration › Deporting Criminal Immigrants
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Social › Confederate Flag
8>8 Personal answerYes but only if the confederate battle flag is flown in a historical context and not as a national flag. That means it will never be flown higher than our national flag or higher than the state flag of the state where it is being flown. The confederate flag will always present honors to our national flag by dipping as it passes a stationary US Flag. The US Flag never dips for any other national flag. |
Social › Government Mandates
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Domestic Policy › No-Fly List Gun Control
8>8 Personal answerNot automatically, but I would certainly suggest more than a standard background and identity check. Robert Kenndy was on a no-fly list but that was because he shared a name with an IRA terrorist. |
Domestic Policy › Supreme Court Reform
8>8 Personal answerNo, no more seats, and yes to mandatory retirement age I suggest 70 years of age. |
Immigration › Illegal Immigrant Detainment
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Social Media Regulation
8>8 Personal answerNo, but I would lower the standard of evidence for proving slander or liability. While I was at it, I would also lower the standard of evidence so that in a lawsuit, the deciding point in the case would be based on the preponderance of the evidence, not a requirement such as written proof of intent to damage the individual(s) economically through public ridicule and or legal process. |
Healthcare › Medicaid
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Science › Mandatory Vaccinations
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Crime › Private Prisons
8>8 Personal answerYes, but they should be strictly regulated to prevent mismanagement and corruption |
Immigration › Border Security
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Social › Gender Workplace Diversity
8>8 Personal answerNo, the Federal Government does not have a constitutional right to interfere with selecting the corporate board of directors for any company. The only criteria for selecting board members should be the merits of the individual in consideration and the influence that individual can bring to the board of directors. The gender of a candidate for the position of membership on a board of directors should be of zero weight. |
Crime › Qualified Immunity for Police
8>8 Personal answerYes, and provide more required training and recurrent training as well as professional education for police officers. Officers who have a record of minor abuse attested to by fellow officers shall be required to undergo evaluation and adjudication by a professional standards committee after medical and psychological evaluation has been made. Officers judged to not be fit for uniformed duty in the public can be assigned office positions if available or they can be retired or if their behavior is egregious enough can be referred for criminal investigation by the local Attorney General's office. |
the Environment › Alternative Energy
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Immigration › Sanctuary Cities
8>8 Personal answerNo, and all federal facilities within a state permitting sanctuary cities shall be closed and moved out of state at the earliest possible time. There will be no military bases and only those naval and coast guard bases necessary to protect the coast. All Air Force Army and Marine bases will be shut down and closed and moved at the earliest possible time. Additionally, each day the state violates the ban on sanctuary cities, there will be a $100,000 fine assessed that MUST be paid before any resumption of federal activity within that state. |

8>8 Personal answerNo |
Social › First Amendment
8>8 Personal answerNo, the concept of separation of church and state is nowhere in the constitution of the United States of America. We were founded as a Christian nation on Judeo-Christian principles. Our Constitution guarantees freedom of religion and the free exercise thereof in its first amendment, meaning we are free not to have a religious faith if that is our persuasion. Still, freedom of and free expression of our faith, whatever it is, SHALL not be infringed by any legislative measure. |

Additionally, once scanned her photo will be filed for future identification uses. No one outside law enforcement will be permitted to see her face without her expressed permission so long as her identity turns up no hits. |
Crime › Solitary Confinement for Juveniles

Domestic Policy › Flag Burning
8>8 Personal answerHow do you properly retire an American Flag? You burn it and then bury it, preferably in a national cemetery or at a VA Hospital or a local Boy Scout Camp. First, you cut the Blue ensign out, cut the stripes apart lengthwise, burn the former flag, and gather its ashes for burial. I do not consider arson to be an issue of freedom of speech or expression. It is arson and, to that extent, an assault on the identity of the United States bordering on insurrection at best and at worst treason. Still, I do not think making it illegal to burn the flag is a good idea. I think it is good to applaud when someone rescues an American Flag from being burned like that ball player a few years ago did. Him, I'd give him a medal for his act of courage and patriotism. |
Crime › Demilitarize the Police
8>8 Personal answerYes, but with strict training on how and when to use the equipment |
the Economy › Labor Unions
8>8 Personal answerHelp |
the Economy › Welfare Drug Testing
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Elections › Campaign Finance
8>8 Personal answerSo long as we consider corporations, incorporated unions, and non-profit organizations to be individuals in fiction, they have a constitutional right to be heard. Bucks in the form of donations shout for the individuals and parties receiving them. We need to change the identity of these organizations away from being individuals that have the same constitutional rights as flesh and blood individuals and then prohibit their donation to political campaigns or possibly require equal contributions to all parties running for office. This would tend, I think to reduce the vast sums of money being used to purchase a victor's influence. |

the Economy › Overtime Pay
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Domestic Policy › Eminent Domain
8>8 Personal answerYes, but the seized property may not then be sold or conveyed to a commercial or industrial business as happened in one of the New England states a few years ago. An owner of several decades was evicted from her home given a token amount of money and then the property was conveyed to a commercial entity to build a store on her stolen property. She was denied the right to sell for the true value of the land and the reduced conveyance cost was the municipalities inducement to the employer to come to their town. |

Foreign Policy › Military Spending
8>8 Personal answerIncrease |
Crime › Collective Bargaining
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Environment › Animal Testing
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Science › Nuclear Energy
8>8 Personal answerYes, but there are new reactor designs, some using liquid fuel some using thorium. The nature of the liquid fuel is that as the fuel heats up, the atoms spread apart, and automatic cooling begins because the mass of the fuel goes subcritical. Once it's cooled off enough, the atoms are closer together, and fission resumes automatically. Thorium reactors theoretically produce vastly smaller amounts of radioactive waste, reducing the long-term storage costs somewhat. I would phase out of operation all currently licensed reactors quickly as modern reactor replacements can come on stream. I recently saw a small packageable reactor that can be put together in a modular fashion. This design uses or could use the liquid fuel system or the thorium reactor system. The construction costs would be far lower, with a quicker point of profitability being achieved. If we can finally resolve our current long-term nuclear waste storage dilemma, there could come a time when nuclear and renewable energy sources replace all fossil fuel energy sources, but that's a long way off at this point. |
Crime › Drug Trafficking Penalties
8>8 Personal answerNo, for religious reasons I do not support the death penalty. I would prefer to have drug kingpins sentenced to life for a first offense, Life usually is up to 12 years. A second conviction for the marketing of drugs shall be for the life of the convict plus one day with no potential for parole short of commutation by the state governor or if in federal custody commutation by the President. |
Foreign Policy › Torture
8>8 Personal answerYes, but only in the cases where there is good reason to believe the suspect has knowledge of an imminent terrorist threat to the USA or one of our allies or in some cases where if information gained may enhance our diplomatic position with a nonally nation IE a threat to Russia is uncovered. |

Science › GMO Labels
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Crime › Prison Overcrowding
8>8 Personal answerYes, but place them under house arrest using an electronic bracelet |
Education › Universal Pre-K
8>8 Personal answerNo, our founders understood that if the federal government got involved with funding schools that at some point or other, the Schools would become thralls of the federal government and begin teaching whatever the party line of the day was. State and local government-funded schools for generations until 1960-70; then Nixon came out with the Department of HEW began kicking in major buck$ for school systems to use. In no time since a significant amount of money going to our schools came from the Federal Government, the Federal Government assumed it had a right and obligation to know where tax money was going. Then it assumed it had the right to direct money contributed to programs and curricula it approved of. Well, we can see where that lead; it lead directly to that infamous rising tide of mediocrity. |
Transportation › Public Transportation
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Education › Charter Schools
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Immigration › Dual Citizenship
8>8 Personal answerNo, not if the immigrant has applied for citizenship. Our citizens are automatically expected to be loyal only to the United States of America. We must not allow mixed loyalties to be permitted. No man can serve more than one master, for he will love the one and hate the other or will find that at some point, a conflict of interest will arise that may likely pit the individual against himself. No house divided can long stand. At the age of majority, any alien resident in the USA who has applied for citizenship must pick one nation or another. |

8>8 Personal answerNo, summary assassination of SUSPECTED terrorists is and always should be unacceptable. Yes, if the assassination target is known to be a terrorist and there is no prospect of grabbing and snatching him or her. |
Science › Space Exploration
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Domestic Jobs

Domestic Policy › Political Advertising on Social Media
8>8 Personal answerNo |
the Economy › Offshore Banking
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Edward Snowden
8>8 Personal answerYes, in some ways, Edward Snowden is the cyber version of John Brown. He is proof that you can do what right the wrong way is. I don't know that given what the NAS was doing and still is doing for all I know that there was really a right way to do the right thing in this case. He could have reported the situation through channels, but the powers that be could squelch it by snapping their fingers, and yet what he reported was, in my opinion, an egregious invasion of personal liberty with no compelling cause no reasonable suspicion on the part of the NAS or any other agency of the United States. I would have been rooting for John Brown's cause of abolition for slavery, and I would likewise be rooting for a major curtailment and oversight of NSA's intelligence-gathering system. |
Education › School Truancy
8>8 Personal answerNo |
the Environment › Corporate Subsidies
8>8 Personal answerYes, so long as within a specified period of time, tax revenues WILL exceed the granted tax incentives and so long as the new employer actually employs local workers, both labor, and management personnel, to fill most of the positions created by the new plant. |
Domestic Policy › Air Force One
