It makes me want to open a chain of restaurants and have the hostess ask people as they come in if they support Donald Trump or the Republican party in any form and if they say yes. Sorry you can't eat here and were telling you that you are trespassing. GTFO |

Foreign Policy › Israel
9>9 Personal answerIsrael is an important partner in the middle east. But they are screwing things up in Gaza. They need to pull out and work on getting their people back who are still being held hostage there. Instead of trying to strong arm them back. That's not working. Every civilian they kill makes five more terrorists who HATE them. I'm all for an Eye for and Eye but 20,000 Eyes for 1,500 Eyes is not exactly an equal playing field. Even if someone purposely runs into your car and causes an accident, you don't get out of your own car and shoot them and all of their family in the head. We should keep partnering with Israel on intelligence matters but make clear to them that we will not be providing any more weapons to use indiscriminately in Gaza. Give it some time to cool down and then if they get information on the location of those who were responsible then we will assist with targeted assassinations that don't kill hundreds of bystanders at the same time. |

9>9 Personal answerYes... I think it's scary because it's only a matter of time before other countries also have this capability and then they could be flying drones into our country. We have already set a bad example of doing this because it is VERY successful. However we should be taking every possible precaution not to kill innocent people who happen to be in the wrong place and the wrong time. I understand that sometimes it's unavoidable. But every innocent person that gets killed by a drone strike I think will create more hate and recruit more terrorists to their cause then if it was only the terrorist who gets killed. We have to be careful. |

Foreign Policy › Ukraine and Nato
9>9 Personal answerI think the United States and Russia both promised to protect Ukraine from larger threats. Both are failing at this miserably. I think it's dangerous to admit a country into the alliance during a conflict that has already begun. NATO has a way of preventing things from starting. But if they became a NATO country right now. The next shot fired into Ukraine by a Russian would require EVERY NATO COUNTRY to make a swift and painful attack on Russia. That could definitely cause a larger war. Ukraine has done an incredible job using their own people. We need to send them BIGGER PAYLOADS and UNTIE THE ROPES THAT ARE UNNECCESARILY STRANGLING THEM. It's gonna happen before the end of 2024 but it won't be the United States who provides the weapons. We are too cautious of escalation. But some other country (probably a NATO country) WILL provide weapons to Ukraine that can strike deep into Russian territory and cause a lot of damage and civilian death. This will infuriate Putin into ordering a retaliatory strike that other members of the Russian government fear will be a red line for NATO and they will remove him from office or assassinate him. And prevent those orders from going out. |

Foreign Policy › NATO
9>9 Personal answerWith Russia poised to test the alliance and determine the dedication to each other and to try and find how far they can push us before we take retaliatory action. I think this is already happening in Ukraine and they won't stop there. Now is not the time to be playing footsies with not defending NATO countries. China is also watching very carefully to see how the world reacts to Russia in it's aggression with Ukraine. They won't make a move on Taiwan until they see how this plays out. And I think when they see it not play out well for Russia they will also back down. We need to be setting an example. |

Foreign Policy › NSA Surveillance
9>9 Personal answerThis issue is kind of a wacky one. I know people think spying is bad. But EVERYONE does it. and trust me when we do gather intelligence that our allies are unaware of that could possibly prevent an attack they are surely grateful when we share that information with them. As we would welcome any head's up that they want to share with us. |
